Join us for an interactive week-long course taught by a team of skilled nationally renowned nurse educators from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill including Drs. Rumay Alexander, Carol Durham, Sonda Oppewal, Shielda Rodgers, Gwen Sherwood, Anita Tesh, Meg Zomorodi, and others! You will learn how to help your students thrive, deliver innovative classes and courses using active learning activities, and construct a test. Our expert educators will guide you through assessment to testing, classroom to clinical. Each day you will apply your knowledge with innovations you can take back to your workplace and directly apply to improve your students’ education in your academic setting. You will have the opportunity to seek expert advice, share experiences and ideas, and support your colleagues as nurse educators interested in transforming learning.
survey  Whether you are a novice educator or more experienced, this course will help motivate you to develop additional skills to take command of your teaching. Please note that in order to complete the 45 contact hours, participants will complete some online learning activities before the course and during some evening hours while the course is in session.
