Project Description
Building on Strength: Blending TCAB and QSEN
As a leader in innovation, this school was selected for the Transforming Care at the Bedside-Phase One project and will use the learnings from this initiative to advance integration of QSEN competencies into faculty development opportunities and curricular revision.
Using Clinical Teaching Improvement Specialists and PDS technology, this project will examine clinical teaching to determine what are "value-added", "necessary", and"non value-added"; teaching/learning activities related to QSEN and TCAB objectives. Additionally, faculty will implement a "60 Second Assessment and Prioritization" tool to evaluate student functioning in the simulation lab using a control group/study group design.
