On March 4, Nurses came from across the state to Jacksonville University. They came to learn, to meet, to fill a box on a continuing-education form. And they came to talk about the dangers of bullying in hospitals.
About 200 nurses and professors and students came to the statewide Quality and Safety Education for Nurses summit to hear researchers describe what they believed to be the best practices for preventing infection and improving safety and reporting errors. But the discussion that made the room buzz and hands stretch up with questions and examples was the discussion on bullying.
