The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation is pleased to share with you a short video from their organization highlighting successful approaches and model programs designed to strengthen the nursing workforce. The video features some of the Foundation’s grantees who discuss:
1. An accelerated doctoral program that created a larger pool of nursing faculty to educate more nurses.
2. Integration of the Quality and Safety Education for Nursing (QSEN) competencies into pre-licensure curriculum.
3. Transition programs, which are academic-based partnerships with health care organizations to bridge the gap between academic preparation and practice for new nurses.
You can view the video here and learn more about the Foundation’s nursing workforce strategy.
Please feel free to share the video with your network.
